Re: Screenshots
^^ lol :)
Looks really nice, though it might be a bit irritating when white fonts clash on white backgrounds :D

Re: Screenshots
dear pidsley;
think you'll find that's apt-cache search, still;
fbv compiled! - script copied and chmod a+x
it runs as root to get to the fb0?
BUT
no joy.... the picture flashes up then back to kernel fb.
fbterm on its own - fine and dandy
fbv -ciucker sweet.
must be the script.

Re: Screenshots
dear wux; no, I meant apt-file. apt-file searches for packages that contain something you know (like a header file) but when you don't know the name of the actual package. very useful when make complains that it can't find Xlib.h and you don't know what package you need to install.wuxmedia wrote:dear pidsley;

Re: Screenshots
nice site. Clean way to display. There is also dotshare.it. But this brings an interesting method for sharing. Might give some ideas here. Hmmmm

Re: Screenshots
^ Agree, xcolors simply presents it better, cleaner. Already found a dream color combo: http://xcolors.net/dl/euphrasia

Re: Screenshots
I'm thinking of rinsing the entire xdefaults thread at crunchbong...
I mean it's all open source...?
maybe it's my inadequacy, i can't see colours in HEX, 8(
(and yes, that explains my website 8p)
so it pisses me off to have a resource like that almost totally useless.
i've forked it, so i'll jam the guys fork box with some pushpop things.
i figure if he's interested maybe able to change between a few scripts or maybe upload your desired background img. to see how it looks.
although i just need urxvt to run the colours.

Re: Screenshots
^ You're definitely crazy (in a positive way!) :D Hope it's really just a wallpaper, and not some Lua construct in Conky :D
