@harvey: just for clarity: we don't really have rules or shit, i just like to exaggerate :) but the reason we like people doing intro-threads is simply so we can get to know them a bit better.
All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.

I have a dzen-bar working. I'm not planning to share the script, because it's a hack and I'm sure Harvey can come with a better solution.

Looks awesome Pidsley. Would you mind sharing the script please? It'll make writing howm a little easier. I won't write a status script for a while, so it'd be cool to have for now. :)

It'd be great if someone could try out that latest howm commit on the develop branch and try to launch firefox or dwb.

It crashes my X server, not sure if it is howm or something else...

I am having some issues with any windows that have floating windows- such as pop ups in firefox etc. I will fix it over the next few days, howm will be unstable until then. A lot of applications are crashing on start up too.

Operators are working fine for me, I will let you know in this thread when things have stabilised. :)

Hey everyone!

I have finally released version 0.1, you can get it from here: https://github.com/HarveyHunt/howm/releases/tag/0.1

Let me know if you have any problems with it. I have updated the documentation, so please let me know if it is all clear enough.

Thanks Harvey, I will put it on a blank base system and make a remix of it for 'the broad masses' this weekend :)

By the way, excellent documentation! Wish other projects would do it like this, too! (shamefully looks into the mirror)

Thanks MB! I get tired of wasting time trying to work out how to use projects that have bad docs, so I thought I would save people the effort. ;)

Awesome, thanks for making a remix!

Phew, it's been a busy time but version 0.5 is finally out.

howm now longer uses config.h - everything is done using cottage. Keybindings are now handled by cottage + sxhkd for a cleaner design.

I wrote a blog post about the new features here.
