xbanish: Hide that pesky cursor

Unread post by harveyhunt » Wed Jul 09, 2014 2:52 am

Quite a useful program. Call it in your .xinitrc and let it sort everything out for you.

Hides the mouse when you type, can be configured to ignore modifiers, so using a tiling wm doesn't hide the cursor.

It has some weird quirks, but is stable.

Hmm, nice Harvey, but what quirks and how serious are they ?

It sometimes bugs out on firefox windows, like adding a new bookmark.

The author has pushed some new changes that I think fix this though- I haven't tried them yet.
