lynx has more options, especially for the cookies settings. lynx supports HTML5, which was not yet a standard when retawq came out. lynx is still in development, apparently. And lynx renders websites much more beautifully. retawq might be a tiny little bit quicker, because its code is much smaller. But see for yourself:

Thanks for the summary machinebacon. I was under the impression (from the screenshot) the output is more balanced and organized visually

I like how links (or Elinks, which is based on it) and w3m display webpages, but it really depends on the website you visit. I would recommend to try each of these (e/links/2, lynx, w3m, netrik) on different websites, and then pick the one which is most acceptable for the pages you regularly visit. Browsing through forums is always a PITA, no matter which browser you pick :)
