Nedit - editor (Xwin)

Unread post by Theo » Tue Feb 23, 2016 9:12 pm

Another oldie for those who can't live without a xwindow-based editor.
It's gtk/qt-less and beats leafpad in my opinion.
Not as sexy as terminal-based editor, but a striptease has to start somewhere :)
It's in the repo's.

^ I have used that quite a bit actually, back in the day. It is not bad at all. Maybe I will fire it up soon again :)

^ some of it features are not available in Leafpad or Mousepad, so I guess it's nice for a non-gtk X-windowssystem :)

Thanks, Theo. Never heard of it before. It seems really interesting. I will give it a go.

I had not known of this either. I have leafpad on most of my systems. I look at this. Thanks.
