stjerm...i found this term on github, then realized it's in the FreeBSD pkg repo. it's a simple drop-down term, configured via an .Xdefaults file, much like the xterm or urxvt .Xresources. on the 32 bit Dell Latitude 2100 (10 inch netbook, atom processor), it runs around 17-19 MB RAM (10000 saved lines) on FreeBSD. That's more than my urxvt (12 MB), but less than the xfce4-terminal --drop-down (25 MB) i was using.
