apvlv

Unread post by elixir » Sat Apr 02, 2016 10:53 pm

I searched this thread and there were no results for this program, so I thought I would share.

apvlv is a GTK+ PDF viewer with vim-like functionality. Check it out, it is in the repo's.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install apvlv
Not sure if this is the actual web page for apvlv, but it has some info about it: https://naihe2010.github.io/apvlv/

Nice. I'm always a sucker for vim like bindings :)

mupdf is usually my go-to guy, but this looks interesting. I'll have to compare how light it is :)

Not that light, asince this depends on poppler-glib, and newer versions need gtk3....

Having just tested it out, I found it unresponsive and a cpu hog on my Mini 210. Much slower than mupdf etc...
