wavemon wireless stats
A curses interface for monitoring wireless signal strength and more. Available in the repos as 'wavemon'.
Trailing whitespace? Give me a fucking break, and save me from "experts" and "C-language lawyers."
Re: wavemon wireless stats
^ Very nice, thanks.
Re: wavemon wireless stats
looks nice. just had a read through the manpage to see if it can send info to sdout, and don't see an option for it. figured you could pipe it to a bar or something.
might as well link the manpages here while i'm typing anyway:
man wavemon: https://www.mankier.com/1/wavemon
man wavemonrc: https://www.mankier.com/5/wavemonrc

Re: wavemon wireless stats
Rho, I wanted exactly the same thing (in my case signal strength) without root access:
cat /proc/net/wireless #shows all
awk 'NR==3 {print $3 }' /proc/net/wireless #link quality
cat /proc/net/wireless #shows all
awk 'NR==3 {print $3 }' /proc/net/wireless #link quality
..gnutella..
Re: wavemon wireless stats
^ yep, that's it! - just figured it would be nice of this wavemon could do it as well :)
