Hard to live without that one :DGekkoP wrote:It's been a while since my latest dwm setup, but I remember using attachaside.
Term + Tmux + Emacs ? Totally understandable :)DebianJoe wrote::none

Re: dwm patches
I don't always use dwm... but when I do I use attachaside and bottom stack. I have a 4x3 monitor and side stack just does not work for me.
Re: dwm patches
^ Yeah i would do the same, until i'm using big ass display (which i don't and i doubt i ever will) vertical tiling is the way to go.This reminds me of those Samsung Galaxy smartphones which uses horizontal tiling.
(Wikipedia: The Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, Note II and Note 3 smartphones have a multi-window feature that allows the user to tile two apps on the device's screen.)

Re: dwm patches
stark, does the Galaxy Tab 3 have that function too? I didn't find it yet and wonder....
..gnutella..
Re: dwm patches
^ Don't know as i don't own a smartphone, but i have read somewhere there are xposed modules for rooted devices that can achieve the same function so it should be doable.

Re: dwm patches
@machinebacon That cannot be possible ;) But there are apps that can toggle root access for you.
@zharper Wonderful! Thanks for sharing :) I'm still wondering if i should use the pertag patch as i hear tags are more powerful ( i suppose I need to use them more extensively to understand ). Oh and i read it conflicts with the bstack which i use.

Re: dwm patches
^ I only use pertag because uselessgaps requires it. I use tags so pertag doesn't work as intended. The pertag2 patch I use includes bstack.
Re: dwm patches
^ Thanks. I'm using dwm 6.1 with bstack and pertag ( for 6.1 ) which are working fine so maybe the new version of pertag doesn't clash with bstack anymore ?
