Saw them live last night. I was lucky enough to have earplugs, because they did quite tear down the whole place. I felt sorry for the guys in the audience who didn't know what to expect from them.

More importantly, I was finally able to get my hands on the orange vinyl of Dissipatio HC.

Well, you needed to know their music a bit to really enjoy it, because they played in a little room where the sound wasn't really great. Singer's and bass player's voices where hard to catch, and I was right in front of the singer/guitar player so I can imagine the ones in the back only heard noises.

However it's the kind of underground madness I still love to attend to sometimes. Audience supports these obscure bands, the band itself sells the records so you can talk to them before or after the gig (that's how I caught the bassist player and how I got the LP from her). It's an intimacy you don't get with big bands, therefore I don't care about the sound quality. The spirit is all that matters.

I still attend those concerts, even here in our small town. I know what you mean. A lot of CDs and LPs I buy from concerts when I am not shopping on Discogs. Even some Italian bands come here. The last one was Los Fastidios and they came two times. Just an example. We have a nice underground scene.

And the real beauty of it all here is that there is just one place in whole Vicenza willing to approach music like this, and it's only a 15-minute drive from home. :)

Fuck, the same here. But I can just walk or take the bike.
