Now it is time to give the Spaniards some love. They have a big variety in music, not only Flamenco. Especially the Mestizo scene that began in Barcelona with Manu Chao (a French with Spanish origins known for the group Mano Negra).
Basically it is a fusion of Spanish sounds with Latin, African, Caribbean music and of course Arabic influences. Immigrants play a big role there.

One of the well known groups were Amparanoia.
