Adore-era gigs are awesome. I collected a good amount of them, Pumpkins did play something different and special in each one.

Listening to And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. I missed them. Worlds Apart in particular.

cool, thanks for this. i just tried listening to the entire Worlds Apart album but found that i was not in the right mood for it. will revisit it later, when i am.

i've always just known them by name. found the name interesting but never bothered to look into them further. it sounds pretty good. it reminded me of Smashing Pumpkins, Explosions in the Sky, and a bit of The Veils. that last one might be lesser known of the three and i dont believe i posted about them before, so i will now.

honestly, i dont know full albums by these guys, but i know 2 songs that i think are fucking awesome. i like that whole "carnival of the dead" feel they have going, or something. anyway:

^ about Trail of Dead: I saw them live twice, one of the few groups I saw really able to deliver an intense energy throughout the whole show. Maybe I love them because I only have good memories with them. :)

Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch

Something magical about this music video... perhaps it is only because someone started playing it on our school's TV system during lunch a bit back, but still something has to be said about a song rated one of the 100 Worst Songs Ever :D

^ I like it :)
(and not just because it is in the OST of one of my favorite movies)

Not a fan of this group but back then I liked the song and find that it still has something.

^^ What film? I am liking it more, especially since it has been stuck in my head for the last few hours.

Let me be Pacific I wanna be down in your South Seas
But I got this notion that the motion of your ocean means "Small Craft Advisory"
So if I capsize on your thighs high tide, B-5 you sunk my battleship

Rose Bottom Punch - If I Were Dead

Sort of a Post-Grungy/Alt-rockish group that came from the ashes of Poor Old Lu back in the 90s. Not the best, but not bad. Going through some cassette tapes my uncle gave me that had been sitting in his garage from when he worked at a music store :)

Poor Old Lu - What If Uncle Ben Had Lived (lyrics have nothing to do with Spiderman, sadly.)

Post-grunge/Alternative fix for the day - Fuel's Sunburn album. Something quite nice to finish up my summer before everything kicks into gear for the school year!

A little flashback to the grunge era. A playlist with bands who never hit off big time.

^ Check out Wovenhand too. Saw them live and it was one of the best concert I've ever been.
