Led Zeppelin's Presence, one of the best tracks Achilles Last Stand.

Though it was recorded in 1975.

^ Achilles Last Stand and Tea For One are my two fave LZ tracks! How did you know :D

Queen's A Day At The Races is from 76, too. Didn't find a full album link, so here's White Man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB2vVahCBaw

Deep Purple's last album in the 70s, Come Taste The Band, actually sounds better in retrospect than it used to those days. Straight rock. (I love the last track though, "Keep on movin'") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJkNAXbKbvU

Gotta get to work now, will fill up later :D

^ Great albums Bacon.

Achilles Last Stand is a killer song, every friend of mine that really loves Led Zep loves those tracks and by the way they all make/made music.

Don't listen to the 1979 live Knebworth version of it, it's one of the worst live tracks ever recorded IMO (very sloppy guitar work, uninspired vocals), jedenfalls IMO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWOuzYvksRw
Seems Plant needs a broken leg to sing this correctly (as he had it in the studio) :D

I know you do not like them live. :) I prefer the album versions anyway.

Oh ho ho, Spotify's knew exactly what to toss in my Discover Weekly playlist this week...

Kansas - "Miracles out of Nowhere"
Kansas - "Cheyenne Anthem"

FWIW... I was a big fan of Bob "The Blade" back in the days of Classic Rock.
I just picked this up
