Ivanov said "you don't like them (LZ) live", and he's right :) Anyway, let's have a thread for concert albums - no KISS live albums allowed ;)

My first live album (actually two albums) were Deep Purple's Made in Japan and Made in Europe. They are not really related (two different line-ups), but they were in my father's record collection,. So here goes:

Made in Japan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39vhEHUOBRU
Made in Europe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oumRjY7-jb4

And yes, I like Live in Europe way more than Live in Japan. Much more punch, power, speed, aggression. Those days they were the world's loudest band.

I'll take for granted that we are only talking official releases here, otherwise this topic will be totally overflown by my endless writings about Grateful Dead live recordings.

I'll start with the Dead anyway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POEw-2vAojk

And then Les Bains Douches by Joy Division: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBAFWNpdiuA

Yes, of course no bootlegs (that would even burst a 'bootleg' thread - I'd rather recommend opening threads by bands and put those things there, along with photos, stories, a FAQ, and so on)

:)

Couldn't resist with a bit of jazz:

- John Coltrane - Live at Village Vanguard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqcPdL9M7Pw
- Miles Davis - Prelude (from Agartha) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86vjvV3kjJo

Nice idea for a separate thread. But back to topic, Judas Priest "Unleashed In The East". The epitome of Heavy Metal.

talking of Step-Father's record collection:
Dire Straits - Private Investigations from Alchemy; Live

Why this track? - I stole the bass + soul clap atmosphere bit at 4:30 something, for one of my own composition ;)

I disagree. That "reunion" Live Aid thing (with Phil Collins as drummer) they did in the mid 80's was one of the funniest stand-up comedy shows ever.
