Lot of bossa and cha-cha, and some of these are covers, but nevermind, this is Easy Listening!

Otto Sieben - Curley Shirley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YFJmtcS4Pc extremely productive Austrian composer

Nico Fidenco - Sweet Bossa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70NJVnJCpwc wrote mostly for films

Stelvio Cipriani - Le cerbiatte https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-Uvz5J-Plg (Mi chiamano Alleluja!)

The German Crew:
Kai Warner - Pueblo Bossa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWMeD61pnoU (brother of James Last)
Bert Kaempfert - Sweet Caroline https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlrzuiCWy6w
Heinz Kiessling - Butterfly By https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfIV40JMLAM (he wrote the title track for Germany's Most Wanted, Aktenzeichen XY... ungeloest)

Burt Bacharach - The Look Of Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDu1hYXFDk0 needs no introduction.

Antonio Carlos Jobim - The Girl From Ipanema https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFfgT9Wgxjo invented the Bossa Nova.

The French Crew:
Franck Pourcel - Elena https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pm3i5bEzD7s
Paul Mauriat - Love Is Blue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWX7rBV4Yx4

And the really soft ones...
Percy Faith - Theme For Young Lovers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xY2sM40iWA
Helmut Zacharias - Ramona https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL0TT7UI0ps
Herbert Rehbein - Dry Eyes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXzenZ7G5SY

Holy cow, I can't believe we didn't already have a thread for this! You covered the greats :) One I don't see is John Fox and His Orchestra.

"Clair" I love this one! I reminds me of the 1973 adaption of The Borrowers I used to watch all the time as a wee one :D
"The Last Waltz"
"There Are Such Things"
"Love Me"
"Sailing By"
"Here, There And Everywhere"

I can say that although I enjoy many different genres from Classical to Power Metal to Skater Punk, Elevator Music is most definitely my favorite :) (How fun it would be to take a few trips up and down an elevator in the Empire State Building in the mid-70s!)

Edit: No Mantovani!? For shame!
"Tea For Two"
"Smile"
"Smoke Gets In Your Eyes"

awesome! i'll re-post a link to the documentary on Easy Listening here: http://ffilms.org/the-joy-of-easy-listening-2011/

that docu explains why you will see so many covers. they are a normal thing in Easy Listening music.

Tiny Tim: Easy listening meant to unnerve. The best kind.

Is this the end of music? Are bots to blame for composing it? I have become addicted to lofi crap like this:

It just feels so very good to have some kind of soundtrack that I do not need to engage in. :|

Time to wind down, try to unstress yourself. Terrible music really. But I am fascinated.
