i just heard 1 single and thought it was really good, sounded like a mixture of Bowie and Radiohead or so.

He always reinvented himself, and looking at the last video Lazarus (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-JqH1M4Ya8) he even made his death a work of art. He doesn't just fucking die, for example by being hit by a small-dicked drunk chink driving a sedan made from plastic in Inner Mongolia -- he celebrates it. Awesome.

Bowie can't die. He's deathless!! He just got bored of us, so now he's rippin it up among dark matter somewhere in the universe. Farewell Ziggy. You fathered techno (even if you didn't realize it at the time), and for that I'll always be grateful.

One of my wife's favorite movies is Jim Henson's Labyrinth, and her Christmas present this year was a tapestry featuring a life-sized Bowie as the Goblin King. She loves Bowie!
So, a sad day around my house :(
RIP, David Bowie

Back in the day at school, we got some anti-drug education. The teacher let us watch a movie called "Christiane F. - Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo". David Bowie helped the director out with music and some performances. A very impressing movie, and I believe a German classic.
He was one of the 'heroes' that keeps his status longer than a day..
RIP...

Listened to his last album "Blackstar" today. Yes it is a very good album in my opinion. His previous record "The Next Day" was good too, will have a listen to the ones before that when I get a chance. I think they are called "Heathen" and "Reality". Hmmm that sounds like a couple of good names for a bbq release. ;)
