Ok just wanted to leave this little message to everyone. This is the most roasted album for me this year, thanks to a coworker of mine. Red Hot Chili Peppers "Stadium Arcadium" Really cool when in the mood for it. :)

Always enjoyed the RHCPs but yeah, know what you mean about the "mood" - really need to be driving a cherry apple red convertible down some desert highway in California. Well thats what comes into my head anyway.

^Yes exactly what I meant with "mood". Now something completely different. No special category for this song so I just post it here. It is a parody, hilarious lyrics. Ylvis "Work it"

I've been looking for some good Prog Rock albums recently and I have really been digging some of the work by TransAtlantic and Spock's Beard. Both have some of the same band members, so perhaps that is why I love them both equally ;) Real solid stuff.

^ That is actually pretty good man. The tractor has a nice a steady tempo to it and they are very skilled at their instruments. Good share! :)

On an awkwardness scale of 1 - 10, the Swedish seem have the penchant of making songs that are an 11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXpzPWwEFOI

According to the internets, the album this is from is "electronic", but this song doesn't seem like it to me. So, since I'm not good with genres, I'll just leave it here, because it's beautiful.

^^ it is definitely electronic, these are not real instruments being played, even though the artists tried to make them sound like that.
good track, thanks!

Hm, I guess you're right. The bass almost sounds like a double bass though, but it does get kind of distorted at some point.

dunno why exactly i hear it. it is perhaps the sound of the instruments, although close to real it still sounds like samples to me, and perhaps also the immaculate timing in playing, there is not much "looseness" except for what he programmed himself. or something. but, yeah, to my ears it just sounds electronic.
