Never been into Steven Wilson's solo stuff, tbh. I know he's got a huge following, but I've sort of outgrown this style of prog (or maybe prog's outgrown me). Only reason I picked up this album was because;
a) it was recorded live (as opposed to recording parts individually and mixing like most modern bands)
b) Guthrie did the guitar work (you'll know once you hear it)

And now for something completely different- the best love song ever.

And i was so in love when i first heard that song. And i don't even remember her f***ing name. Or her face. But i still remember that i was in love. I didn't even know something as beautiful as jazz existed back then. In some insignificant film Sean Connery is asked if he ever had contact with anarchists. He replies that he plays jazz and, yes, there was this Mr. I-don't-remember-the-name- HE probably was no anarchist.

LMAO!!
British cars are awesome, man. Sure, they're not that reliable and you get bits of switchgear falling off after a few hundred miles, but that's not much different from their French counterparts.
The producer is better than the rapper/MC, in my opinion. Then again, that's the case with most hip-hop. Consistently good production/instrumentals, but vocals are hit-n-miss.

^ agreed, the music sounds 'dope', the lyrics are 'okay'... still a nice tune though.
here's another suggestion for British rap, but a bit more 'modern' or whatever. i love Ghostpoet, so much that i actually *paid* for his album.

Of course I saw them on stage. The concerts are totally crazy and the air is full of
María.

Their video clips are mostly made by the cousin of my better half, he is a director.
Though the above track is boring but you see the chaos.

I have that album by The Korgis. Admittedly, a bit corny, but still one of the better albums I own.
Yeah, those vocals have been sampled a lot, and often pitched higher in electronica tracks, which makes em sound even more feminine.
On-Topic:
Currently listening to the album this came on, but I'm linking a live performance instead, cos it's mind-melting.

Pardon this long intro. I sort of went underground for the past month or so and when I resurfaced within the past week, I couldn't believe all the shit that went down with #!. DJ, Ivan, Pids, Rho, and anyone else who left #! that I'm not aware of, I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you. I know you guys put a lot of time and care into that forum/community. From reading a pretty good amount of older posts here, there, and the recent ones at #!, it actually made me appreciate the way all you guys are even more. I just thought to myself, man, am I glad I'm here. Then for whatever reason, the song "Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta" by the Geto Boys popped up in my head. I have always loved the song's laid back, relaxed flow. The instrumental has always been one of my favorites. The last time I heard that song was in the movie "Office Space" over 10 years ago. After watching the video a few times, I started laughing cuz I couldn't stop imagining what it would be like if the Geto Boys were a bunch of hardcore BBQ users. Gangbang, of course. I imagined them showing their support for all you pompous, arrogant fucks by doing a "Grillmeister" edition - "Damn It Feels Good To Be A Grilla". The song would basically be the same, except they would say grilla(s) instead of gangsta(s), and grilla(s) in place of nigga(s). They would still say "gangsta-ass" because at the end of the day, they still be Gangsta. Plus saying "grilla-ass grillas" just sounds stupid, not to mention it also sounds like "gorilla-ass gorillas".
