1) install pm-utils or sudo /sbin/suspend (sid is hybrid systemd/sysvinit, so it's maybe better to pick the second option) -> http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?p=18311#p18311
2) lxappearance -> choose the icon theme you like (faenza is added but not selected)
3) cb-exit is not existing here because of slim's absence, so /sbin/poweroff, or pick the items from the menu. TBH I didn't check the super-* bindings, and it would be a fucking big work to remaster 5 editions just because this ;)

@tuxic: we are a bit pampered by the typical 'sudo' distros, in fact the 'create user yourself' is the real UNIX way :)
