KDE4: Ivanov (amd64) Release Notes
This is the first and last amd64 respin of a DE, so enjoy it! LinuxBBQ is angrily announcing that it is definitely possible to run KDE4 without the feel of a walk through the swamp. "Ivanov" is dedicated to my pipe-smoking fellow BBQer David, because I know that deep down in his dark soul he has a heart in which icons jump around if they are clicked.
"Ivanov" comes as a 483MB ISO, so you can download it twice and it is still smaller than Kubuntu. Of course it is, because it does not come with anything else than a unforgiving plasma base.
You want an image viewer?
There is no 'reboot' button?
Konqueror sucks as a browser, you want Fireuzblchromeweaselxxxdoveiumkit?
You need a 'splash screen with the two entry fields' in which you can type in your user name and password?
NOMB, apt-get install it! You love bloat, do you... Now eat it all!
And if you are still complaining that "KDE eats up my printer and slaughters my zeitgeist that runs perfectly well in DickOS" we send BlackIvan to set your gnome-terminal on fire!

I does actually run pretty good on my old core2duo...
It reminds me a lot of a windows7 install without as much junk?

Epic (aren't we using this word too much lately?) release notes. I'll give it a ride.

Loving the release notes.

Live it runs surprisingly smooth on an old low spec hp laptop. KDE for the cool kids, a lot of stuff to click on. :)
