EVILWM/SSCROTWM: Apathetic Abalone (amd64) Release Notes

Unread post by pidsley » Sat Jun 28, 2014 1:45 am

I suppose I might as well admit to building what may be my first and last 64-bit respin, and shamefully announce the release of LinuxBBQ "Apathetic Abalone" -- athough I don't really expect anyone to care. Based on the Summer 64-bit release, all I really added to this ridiculous respin is a patched version of evilwm (with resize on button three where it belongs). Oh, and I guess I should mention that I also included shriveled scrotwm (sscrotwm) not that anyone will care about that either. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Xcolors and fbcolors are dkeg's "skateboard" slightly modified. Otherwise, it's really nothing you couldn't build for yourself. Oh well. Time for a nap.

thanks Pidsley for taking the time to do this. Sometimes the perception of not caring is due to not a lack of understanding of what has been done. The fact is, you did something, more so than most others.

Thanks. It was actually kind of fun building a 64-bit respin and trying to make it as plain as possible to fit the name.

Actually, I do care, those are two of my new favorite WMs, and I run 64-bit on my T61. Sure, I could build it myself, but would I? Thank you for your efforts, pidsley, I will download this and use it.
