EMACS: Rape My X (686) Release Notes
Based on this forums post I roasted up a 'Emacs as login shell' version using Debian Sid as base. Emacs is compiled from the sources for version 24.5, so it comes with eww as integrated web browser. File manager? Dired! PIM and Todo lists? Org-mode! Newsreader and mail client? Gnus! Irssi? rcirc/erc!
Needless to say that RapeMyX is a No-X version.
Due to certain limitations of eshell (for example, dialog/curses applications cannot be displayed inside Emacs correctly), you need to switch to another tty to run things like Ceni, or to enjoy the Bash aliases.
To be honest, I completely forgot to upload this ISO which is now 1 month old (this was when I successfully purged my X). Still, it is fresher than the stuff in Debian's Sid repos. I'd recommend running RapeMyX from a USB stick, but of course it can be installed on a hard drive.
Grow yourself an amber toenail and nibble your beard! Your <Ctrl> key will hate you!

Works from live USB without any issues. I'll find a nice place for this baby and put in my .emacs to see what happens.

try it, might work or not ;) i don't use these, so i just added a tty2 for the sake of preventing discussions. if i didn't add it, people complained that there's no rescue shell :)
