TILERS: LinuxBBQ "Ceramic" (686) Release Notes
I have not done a spin for a while, so here is one. LinuxBBQ "Ceramic" is built on BORK! with three tiling window managers: spectrwm, sscrotwm, and ratpoison. It still uses the siduction 3.17-5 kernel (because it works) -- if you want a different kernel, use the "get-kernel" script.
Otherwise, not much new here except dist-upgraded (with xorg on hold). The window managers use their stock configuration files: use alt-shift-enter to start a terminal in spectrwm and sscrotwm, and ctrl-t + c to start a terminal in ratpoison. Edit ~/.spectrwm.conf or ~/.sscrotwm.conf to make changes. If you would like to use my rp config, copy ~/.ratpoisonrc-pidsley to ~/.ratpoisonrc and restart X. READ THE FUCKING MAN PAGES.
No screenshots. Tilers are boring. All the usual disclaimers, adding that I have not done this for a while, so any number of things could be broken. If that scares you, just add the window managers to smoothie and be happy.
Login "user" password "bbq" or "root" / "root". Login on tty2 if you do not want X autostart.
Edit ~/.xinitrc to start a different window manager (spectrwm is default.)

Yey, thanks Pids :)
I like the selection of WMs, and I'm happy you put ratpoison in, I haven't dared to spin it up ;)
Quite sure nothing is broken, btq -- pidsley is a responsible guy ;)
