^ lol, hmm it has actually been a while since the dumpster has been used. Smarter people have joined lately :)
But I kind of miss reading some tragic comedy reports/complaints when I am drunk, better than a comedy sketch.

Hello!
What would be the difference between this and if you kept your BORK! dist-updated and updated?
I love BORK! 64bit, that's an awesome distro.
I want my os's like i want my women, dark, fast, and low on the resources! ;)

Re: OPENBOX: BREAK! (586) Release Notes
Hi,
there is no technical difference between the two, just stay with BORK! until it breaks! :)
(the long answer is: every time when major transitions are over - for example Xorg, perl, libc6 - I rebuild the base releases and rebuild the most popular spins according to download stats for the convenience of users. This is also to help users jump over bugs/fixes that occur after major releases. Sometimes I replace certain applications to put them a bit into the spotlight, for example gnuit, clex, cmus, tinyirc, hnb and so on. Of course these small changes don't justify replacing a perfectly working release with a newer one if you dist-upg regularly anyway) ;)

Gotcha, thanks!
Thanks also for the great distributions and the explanatory release notes/documentation, they are a goldmine for new users like myself.

Re: OPENBOX: BREAK! (586) Release Notes
fuck me, my Bork just broke due to some Xorg error of incompatibility with my graphics drivers (of course. fucking AMD Radeon half-supported shit), and then there's this and Jules has the perfect explanation of a use-case that is identical to mine. wonderful. thanks so much brother :)

Re: OPENBOX: BREAK! (586) Release Notes
Just started to play around with this BREAK! Trying to fight my way back into the bbq mood. The mood has been on a break... ouch that nearly broke my three braincells.

^ Thanks for the update, vic. So, no edits/changes/hacks needed to be made?

Re: OPENBOX: BREAK! (586) Release Notes
No everything just works for me here. The only complaint comes from apt:
But I have ignored it since antiX sources is commented out in the source list. And well this is just a test to see if the upgrade worked. The d-u were not that big either, so all in all a success. There is of course the possibility that there are things gone bad that I have not noticed. :) Thinking of giving "Space Oddity" a new run while I am trying to work myself back to a little more barbaquesque life. Will probably also check out some of the stuff from July later in October. Hoping for some extra free bbq time to waste. :D Not 100% sure aboout that yet though. :)

Re: OPENBOX: BREAK! (586) Release Notes
Probably removing the antix-archive-keyring package(s) will make the warnings (not errors) disappear.
But vic, why u not Anorexia and build that fucker up? :)
