Chili (amd64) Release News

Unread post by machinebacon » Sun Jun 02, 2013 2:16 am

Back to the buffet! LinuxBBQ Chili is here to spice up your configuration skills: it's featuring the great, suckless dwm!

What's known:
- kernel 3.7-5
- systemd and all the schnick-schnack you know from the previous releases
- no login manager
- dwm window manager
- BBQ/CLI menu (bbqstart)
- tmux with Urxvt

What's different:
- dwm_build (as root) lets you edit and compile the config.h on the fly (this explains the slightly increased ISO size)
- bbqinstaller added swap configuration; new: bbqgamecenter

Check the xbindkeys to find out about WM-independent keyboard shortcuts:
- Ctrl - i starts the installer
- Ctrl - v opens the volume mixer
- Cltr - Alt- Delete for xkill

Per default, dwm opens a terminal with Alt - Shift - Enter, and dmenu pops up after pressing Alt - p

Thanks to all testers and Irene for the wallpaper!
