Re: Sauce 64 (amd64) Release Notes
All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.
Re: Sauce 64 (amd64) Release Notes
Fair warning. On the iso I pulled, the /home/bbq/.tmux.conf was divided by "?" marks. Nice choice of configs, but with those there, it's rendered useless. Easy to fix, though: remove "?" marks from .tmux.conf
Also, OOTB, bbq as a user on the live version kept giving me a "user not authorized to run the X-server" once you try to startx. So I edited file /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config from "allowed_users=console" to "allowed_users=anybody". So far, that's the only totally fatal errors I've found. Will keep playing with it, though. After I make sure I can get it to do what I want, I'll start up a "BBQ Sauce" how-to thread. ;)

Joe, I noticed the ? ? ? too, what the fuck is going on there? Any idea? I did definitely not put question marks into the tmux (which is yours, BTW)
The other question: does it kick into tmux after entering tty? Maybe I uploaded the wrong ISO? *blush*

Re: Sauce 64 (amd64) Release Notes
Joe, it's strange. I have the .tmux.conf file here in front of me, opened in nano and jed, and no ? there. The config I copied from the forums, using roaster, into a blank file in the terminal, using nano.

Re: Sauce 64 (amd64) Release Notes
It kicks straight into tmux at getty. It's cool, though...in the "Sauce64 HowTo" I'm working on, I've attacked fixing the tmux.conf with emacs as step 1. ;)

Re: Sauce 64 (amd64) Release Notes
maybe the tmux oddness is something to do with sourceforge?
I've noticed your quotes on 'release name' end up as question marks.
same as in let?s gangbang.... some kind of anti-??? injection protection? strange encoding thing?
still, a good, if unintentional intro to esmaks. 8)

Re: Sauce 64 (amd64) Release Notes
Hard to say. I rebuild the fucker completely in two versions today (Sauce and Rice, latter being a no-X version) and will double-triple-check.
Oh dang, forgot to upload another goodie :D
