DRAGONFLYWM: Nymph (i686) Release News

Unread post by machinebacon » Wed Aug 14, 2013 6:44 pm

I'm really proud/happy/glad/excited/aroused to annouce the immediate availability of the latest and greatest and possibly sexiest LinuxBBQ release ever (today) featuring the most freshly popped cherry on the Window Manager market, DragonflyWM.

Weighing 301MB, this is a lightweight base release, free of gtk3, very stripped, and indeed without GUI apps (exceptions are the yad-driven BBQ tools). If you are brave, you can install this release by pressing Control + i (bbqinstaller does the job here)

Note: python-webkit is not installed, so Roaster won't work OOTB. All applications are terminal apps!

Keybindings as in .xbindkeys:

Code: Select all

"xmessage -file .xbindkeysrc"
Control + F10

"bbqrun"
Alt + F2

"dmenu_run"
Alt + F3

"sudo /sbin/poweroff"
Control + Escape

"bbqradio-gui"
Alt + F12

"dmenu_run"
mod4 + p

"dmenu_run"
mod4 + F3

"sudo pkill X"
mod4 + Delete

Shift + alt + q

"x-terminal-emulator"
Shift + alt + Return

Shift + mod4 + Return

"bbqscrot"
Print

"x-terminal-emulator -e sudo bbqinstaller"
Control + i
Please check the manpage for dragonflywm's keybindings, and of course the git: https://github.com/Unia?tab=repositories
