This release is for those who need an high-quality, no-nonsense typesetting solution. LinuxBBQ "Latex" - wrapped in XFCE4.10 - comes with Lyx, texmaker and Dia pre-installed (containing the basic and recommended modules), as well as the zotero/qnotero/gnote/iceweasel combo for reference/citation management and the Zim desktop wiki. Sounds like work, doesn't it.
