Just use Bakewell or Coal if you want a 64-bit Openbox spin. http://linuxbbq.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=542

Also please read the thread vic referenced, and this topic: http://linuxbbq.org/wiki/index.php?title=BBQ_Philosophy

No :) See Vic and Pidsley.

The next 64-bit will be an upgrade of "Bloat" (the de-facto RoastYourOwn spin that lets you create your own distro via a dialog) and Rocks! (a music studio suite) in around Cocktober.

Worth to mention is that it comes with "leafpad", but it is not in the menu, easy fix though. Tried to install with the "live-installer", but when I came to "gparted" I got very stuck, so I exited and used the bbqinstaller. There is a command missing in the Obmenu for the fantastic "bbqusb" tool, but it launches from terminal with "sudo". Also an easy fix probably but have not checked what is missing yet. I`ll be back with more if there is?;)

Thanks Vic ;) bbqusb should ave gksudo, and it's not provided. Crappy me :)
And yes, the installer should be bbqinstaller -- isn't it in the CLI menu?

Yes it is, I think I overlooked it in the moment of exitement of this beautiful "Cookie". This time I promise to try to get used to "Chrome"...have changed that awful default theme to something more appropriate, so we will see how long before "Iceweasel" shows up. But there is always that nice "Roaster" if I need to unchrome for a while. I really like your choice of default theme, fonts and wallpaper. It sort of blend in to an aesthetically very pleasant harmony. Hmmm... maybe I should cookie up my bakewell:)

Any special reason for having the linuxbbq repo commented out in the sources list?

Yes. Many users complained they can't upgrade because the bbq repo doesn't react (seems the server stops connections randomly), so I commented it. Anyway nothing new is coming from there, I am working on our own BBQ package manager, which is a secret for now. Was. Ooops.

2. Is there a work around for the 'mei_me resets' spamming dmesg bug (on certain pcs)? - meh, upgrade kernel i guess
