WMFS2: Wurst Release News

Unread post by machinebacon » Wed Oct 23, 2013 4:46 am

It's redundant to mention "i686" every time, isn't it.

Oh yes, "2x Wuchst met fiel Sempf" was the actual release name but it didn't fit the screen, so it is just and old-and-ugly "Wurst", framed in a beautiful and highly-customizable WMFS. Not a minimal release, some qt4 and GTK stuff is added:

- kernel 3.11-6
- PCmanFM (with automounting enabled for the lazy, yes)
- Chromium
- Pidgin
- Skype
- Filezilla
- Emacs24
- CLI: added Finch

Clever users check the 1README file, installer is in the Alt-F1 menu. Alt-F2 spawns WMFS runner, Alt-F3 starts dmenu, Alt-F5 starts the CLI Menu.

Wurst Lite (minus qt/gtk/meacs) is coming soon.
