WMFS2: Yummy Release Notes

Unread post by machinebacon » Wed Oct 23, 2013 9:35 am

Similar to "Wurst", but minus gtk3 and qt4 (no Skype, no Pidgin, no Chromium, no Roaster, no Live-Installer, no Gigolo, no Filezilla, no Emacs)

"Yummy" is featuring WMFS2 as window manager, kernel version 3.11-6, and as GUI applications PCmanFM and Mirage. Everything else is up to the user.

Please read the 1README file in the home folder and the /etc/motd

Alt-F1 opens an editable Application Launcher, Alt-F2 spawns WMFS2's runner, Alt-F3 starts dmenu, Alt-F5 opens the CLi Menu.

^ No, Gypsy has proven to be really problematic. Apparently you built it on Slackware, and the paths and/or versions do not match. It will come soon, some smaller things to iron out :)

^Ah yes, I was wondering whether that might be problematic. Fvwm configs are not so simple as something like jwm or Openbox. :(

Not so simple, but I moved files partly to the right location. It's like 80% perfect, but I am working on it. Else I would have U/L it already :)

You're a distro-churning machine, bacon. Ahaha, I kinda made a funny, there.
