MAIN EDITION: Laoganmadouganhuiguorou (i686 Framebuffer)

Unread post by machinebacon » Wed Nov 13, 2013 4:31 pm

Welcome to LinuxBBQ! Had lunch already? Time to buffer some frames then!

This is "Laoganmadouganhuiguorou", with the newest kernel 3.12 and framebuffer enabled. "Laoganmadouhanhuiguorou" is free of nonsense and well documented, so I don;t waste your time reading release notes.

Epic name. Sounds like fun. I got sid+framebuffer on my Aspire, might as well put this on it.

Go with the BBQ philosophy of:

"If it's not broken yet - break it" :D

The name is so epic that google even showed ZERO results, not even a "did you mean: douchiganzhigouhuiranzhou" :D

oh It's from slackware's / killX's consolefont selection, you'll have to d/l and try it!
just to repeat, these probably won't work in X

well, with openbox *and* a terminal that supports ttf format you can d/l pretty much any .ttf font and have it on your terminal.

The fonts are from the

xfonts-jmk - James M. Knoble's character-cell fonts for X

package. Nothing special, Modd and Neep are the fonts in question.
