BSPWM: Oink Oink (i686) Release News
I'm really satisfied with this one - thanks to dkeg's configuration (thanks Drew!) it even looks neat. "Oink Oink" is featuring bspwm - a lovely window manager that arranges windows in a very consistent way. Laptop users without "Super" key should edit the .config/bspwm/bspwmrc file to enjoy all the WM glory.
The kernel is still 3.12-8 from siduction. Other changes:
- 'pms' now plays with mpg123. The original pms is renamed to 'pms-mplayer'
- Lemonboy's 'bar' is available, if wished add it to the bspwm config file
- lower dependency count and general clean up
- 'env-info' now updated (thanks Pidsley)
- 'mupdf' added as PDF viewer
- 'grillmeister' script to prevent installation of gtk3-packages is added
- 'osd' calling osd_cat is put on Alt-F12
- Alt-F9/10/11 call 'osd_volume'
- Alt-F2 is now bound to a custom dmenu that opens CLI apps in a terminal
The ISO size is now, with 317MB, smaller than ever. it expands to around 900MB on the hard drive.
Suck me: http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxbbq/files/bspwm/

haha, right on Jules. Looking forward to checking it out. Dabbled with bspwm a bit before.
edit - and how rude of me. Thank you for using some of my configs.

Ok I don't know who they are, but I'm going to thank them for keeping the grill at full power. :)

Nice, I've been playing with Sushi, but I'm gonna download this now.
Re: BSPWM: Oink Oink (i686) Release News
I've been messing with Sushi a little, too, but have also been meaning to try BSPWM more thoroughly, so this looks like some good weekend fun. I have been heavily immersed in BSD land, time for a little break back to Linux!
