No comment boss ;)
I did loose weight on the trip though :D
I just came back from "the island" last night, fucking love that place, food is awesome and so are the people! Viva Italia, or Sardegna ;) I will change my avatar in honour of the locals!

cheers

Trying Ubuntu 15.04 on real iron. Yes, Ubuntu was the first distro I ever contributed to, don't laugh :)

So this is the 'Greyscale' default background, the Radiance windecs and gtk3 theme, and byobu with 'black on white' defaults.

^ I like the light theme. Don't feel ashamed, I just put GNOME Shell on Fedora 22. ;)

^ That's just because we are so curious :)

Honestly speaking, 15.04 is actually quite nice, excellent hardware support, no revolutionary changes in the GUI section, but yes it does eat RAM :)

Will try the GNOME shell as next, so thanks for the reminder!

^ Can't compare with Unity, but GNOME Shell is quite a beast too when it comes to RAM usage.

Okay, enough. It wasn't too bad but seeing RAM usage in the upper 800s was too much for me.

Just kept network-manager and removed basically everything that starts with "g". Gotta grab some sleep now and unbloat this mofu tomorrow :D

I remember Bauschspeck (sic) - a nice de-bluntu spin or gno-shell would be interesting.

Looks like Debian but isn't.

Still got some clean-up to do and then test our snapshot/installer combo. PID 1 is indeed systemd. And I don't care :)
