The lure and reward of sharing is inspiration. I have been inspired by my peers and enjoy actually having anything to share at all. Thank you.

I don't comment on your scrots very much because I would sound like a broken record, they always look good. I now usually look for something to take away. Like this one the font, the font size? added to the env-info and general layout.

good point Chef. indeed, that is the best thing to do with these scrots. we run out of ways to say "this is fucking awesome", so instead, let's figure out what makes them so awesome and emulate it, so we can all be cool like Drew. of course then we still wouldn't be skateboarders but hey, you can't have it all ;)

Sunday night! Drinking some SmuttyNose!
tmux.conf tweaks and riced out pentadactyl a bit. Added a colorscheme and an rc file. The rest is there in the modified env-info.

Thanks everyone!

rho - There is as a matter of fact.

It was a mistake. Busted .... Actually, I have not been using a status bar. I have, but not persistant. I set the same status bar as a pop up every 5 or so minutes.

Just yesterday went back to persistant, forgot to remove osd_clock.

Posted on /r/unixporn the other day. Got rid of the bar again, not even using as a popup! Volume and song events are popups. Colors are custom based off the wall.

Still sweet :) I forgot to ask what method to drive the events? a custom script and something like 'wendy' to monitor state change?

Thanks again buddy.

They go by keybinds as the trigger with a collection of scripts for the output. They're available on my my github (/dkeg).

Looks delightful dkeg! I haven't been using a bar recently either. I usually have dunst but I haven't even installed it on my recent Hipster reinstall yet.
