^great movie

Flat as can be. Also updated the bar a bit, going a bit different. Also have some scripts to help simplify and automate saving and changing to a scheme. Very basic, but its cool and works.

^ It looks like we both decided to play with some of dotdev's ideas :) What did you use to pipe weather? I was playing with that a bit and couldn't find a program that I could toss through it.

dude's script from a recent post. Let me try to find it. It's okay, The output is a bit dirty (as in too many decimal places).

edit: found it http://www.reddit.com/r/unixporn/commen ... gaps_toad/

Thought I'd just throw this here for now. Each worthy scheme i create, I'll save as such; wm config, xresources, statsbar, xinit, etc. I wrote a simple script, shown in a previous webm, that will auto copy those items to a tmp directory prior to its final resting place. I now also have an additional simple script to apply one of those schemes. Next, add some interaction to the script.
Simple -> (no conditionals, no checks)
  • 1. run [script] to save current scheme
    2. run [script] on another saved scheme
    3. Log out and back in
    4. BAM; profit

Thanks rho. I'm at a good spot so far. Not working %100 yet. Must be something small I'm missing b/c the scripts individually on their own work fine. Hopefully have something soon to share

put together a script to automatically supply xcolors and font to, in this case, status bar. So whatever the colors I choose, no extra work.

In the bar script, reference as

Code: Select all

## source the colr scipt
. $HOME/bin/colr

BCK=#FF${xcol[0]}
BLK=#FF${xcol[2]}
RED=#FF${xcol[3]}
GRN=#FF${xcol[4]}
YLW=#FF${xcol[5]}
BLU=#FF${xcol[6]}
MAG=#FF${xcol[7]}
CYN=#FF${xcol[8]}
WHT=#FF${xcol[9]}
GRY=#FF7C7B78
## font
font=${xcol[10]}
glyph=${xcol[11]}

A little Happy Easter type scrot. Reuse of an old wall. Not really a purple fan, but it came out alright I guess.
