Nothing much, just proof of a successful Void Linux install :) Everything worked swimmingly. I'm very much enjoying the system as a whole, especially the xbps package manager (I take those for granted until I use Slackware...) and runit has been pretty fun to play with.

I just have wmutils + sxhkd going on here, but I also installed jwm for a fallback.

The more I try new distros, the more I realize there are so many good ones!

Edit: Oh, and the colors are dontget's "facebook" scheme, which are apparently based on farfanoide's vim theme of the same name :)

Decided to give one of the Ubuntu 16.04 development builds a spin. As expected, lots of Unity bloat. Other than being able to move the dash to the bottom of the screen with Unity Tweak Tool, not much to rave about. It's SystemD, which takes a bit getting used to with Ubuntu, but it feels not much different to me than past releases. I did drop on fvwm2, which slimmed things down a bit memory-wise and made it quite a bit more comfortable.

I've finally decided to put the nose to the grindstone and try to get the CompTIA A+ 220-801 and 220-802 Certs before they switch over to the new edition with Win8/10 support, which I'm not nearly as savvy with. I'm realizing that majoring in philosophy/political science in college isn't going to bring in hordes of cash (why would I need that stress in my life anyway ;) so I'm going to try to get some basic certifications and perhaps intern with a sysadmin sometime in the future. All that to say, I pulled in VirtualBox on this install and set up several Win7 boxes to tinker with. I don't feel nearly as bad bloating Ubuntu with it as I would a Greatest Hits install :D
