@stark Thanks!

@dkeg Good point; I forgot about doing that. I also changed the siji font to be a little smaller - I had the wrong one in my bar config :)

0_0 that was unexpected and totally undeserved. It was more of a collaborative effort from all you guys dropping advice and tidbits that I emulated than conglomerated together. Thanks :)

fuck humility. you can take pride in your accomplishments while at the same time honoring the role others have played in that accomplishment. think about it: every single thing in your life has been accomplished with the help of others, whether you realized it at the time or not. you are always building upon previous work, you are always "standing on the shoulders of giants" - everything is a remix. it just depends on how you look at it:

1. well done Dr. you deserve it. it is a great scrot indeed.
2. what dkeg said.
All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.

I'm still working on a new bar, so I have been bar-less recently. It has been sort of refreshing, although I am looking forward to finishing tweaking it. I've gotten some more ideas from /g/technology's daily desktop threads and I have a clearer feeling of where I want to go :)

Solid backgrounds have been less distracting recently, so some hsetroot magic makes the whole of my pape. I am still madly in love with swm + coreutils for no explainable reason (think Prince Myshkin and Nastasya Filipovna sort of relationship) even though, deep down, I have a thing for Fluxbox (Aglaya Yepanchin).

Edit: Rats. ncmpcpp and weechat are not lined up :/

On a side note, being the evil, wicked sinner that I am I tried playing with OS X some. It turned out fairly decently. I have to say, I don't exactly mind it :D

Who cares about the kernel and "OS" if the application choice is 'the way it should be'? :)
