smooth bg color wux, guessing that's the wall since term is fully transparent, but nonetheless.

Thanks guys! it's working out really nice. although: Whilst indeed a smooth colour, it was a bit too low contrast to see all my server windows in tmux, so this is pretty much the actual wall colour.

Rocking the NUC and i3, back to boring old numix :)

^ I have been wondering Wux, are the NUCs worth investing in? I do fancy them tbh, but now more and more mini pcs are available, so I am getting more confused on which one to choose. Had thought of getting one in January.

This one is alright. work machine, so didn't have to think about it much :)
for some god awful stupid reason I had a HDD in here, it's noisy as fuck and if i run something disk intensive ( heavy 'find'ing or grepping) it just stalls and judders, total bottle neck. As soon as i have some funds it's a mini M2 ssd card thing for me.

Have to get the right video drivers, which I don't have so no full screen vid. (not that I need it for work)
The linux luddites guy has one with a projector built in, which whilst a bit gimmicky is still a small NUC, and he got it cheap.
I was wondering about a small form factor one also.

^ no probs, can support a ton of monitors, I picked up a shitty pair cheap of DVI/VGA oldies - mini HDMI and mini DP - so you'll need to get some converters, for old school monitors.

choons, well thank you - oh, how they were made varies:
mostly tracker style programs - on the amiga (protracker), windows (buzz), apple mac (computer muzys, cubase), turntables (1210's).
Samples of scratching is me. not too proud of the now.
The older stuff (not present) was a bunch of vintage synths somehow all plugged in together with tape recorders and things.

back to boring old numix :)
