Finally brought my NetBSD setup (90%) to the BBQ Greatest Hits, just a little more polishing and testing and bam.

Very nice, I like the workspace indicator (if that's those 0 0 X 0 bits) looks like a mem address.
and yeah a font that doesn't look too bad emboldened would be nice, (as that one does) instead of looking bloated. Although that point size is a bit higher than useful for me :)

^^^ DejaVuSanaMono Font thanks.
^^ its either mc default blue or zenburn default blue working on a scheme zenblue. I do like the idea of walking into a hookah bar and when the door opens the light hits the smoke across the room.
^ yes its a workspace indicator its pretty typical how I set bits and test bits, use like flags the other option would be byte level values which then would then need a byte per group kinda messy for indicators. (group 1 and 4 set below)
The font seems to render different in iceweasel than firefox, it could be different default or missing fonts I will look into that, My eyes are getting old and I do to much squinting anyway :) maybe the .jpg fuzzed up a little bit.

Re: Chef presents 'Sir Scrotalot' a scrotactacular.
I just read the entire thread! You are where I would like to be in a year! That was a beautiful journey, dude! And BSD! I got Open BSD to work exactly ONE time on this old Dell! Now I'm gonna clear a partition and dive into this! I have never done a Slackware install, though (kinda scary). That was some inspiring work! Thanks!
Sir! Put down the hammer and slowly step away from the computer.
Re: Chef presents 'Sir Scrotalot' a scrotactacular.
great scrot Chef, and i really dig your workspace indicator solution, so nice and minimal and elegant. i have tended towards perusing lists of Special Characters to find a nice looking circle or some shit :)

noo_b_nomnoms you have found the right place wish it had been around when I started.
Rho thanks I have done the same with circles and fill. For some reason when I seen 8 groups I thought 8 bits and a byte why not.

More of a scrot or it didnt happen :)
After seeing the cool kids (bacon, frank and ivan not to mention any names) playing with Slackware I thought it time to revisit and of coarse it gave me a chubby. It may have been 10 years since my last trip down this road its really a great way of doing things. Just reading the propaganda on the there philosophy and how they have stayed with it is pretty damn cool in my book.
