^^ Hmm, tbh, I like it as it looks. Nice and raw beef tartar.

I like it, very clean... quite the opposite of your forumstatus (stallman's toenail) :)

Yay Chef, I have always liked your style.
Just one question, why that big gap/spacing between CPU and the 4400? Just curious.
Fuck I love those colours.

Cheerio

That's the way the "model name" looks in /proc/cpuinfo. All env-info does is report the name as it is listed in that file. Some processor listings have extra spaces, some don't.

If the spaces really bother you, try changing the "color-echo" function to:

Code: Select all

color-echo() {
    echo -e $cyn$1': '$rst$2
}
But I make no promises that this won't break something else.

I am no longer maintaining env-info on my github. I think enough people have their own custom versions that it has a life of its own now.

One more install this week and it was Void Linux. This is the second time installing and thats very easy, nice script. Using runit for init (used this more than a few times, sabotage linux also uses) which to me is a nice alternative to systemd. The xbps package manager is fine and I think all my packages where there (swm,sxhkd, wmutils-core and lemonbar) actual names. The part I wasnt real fond of was the ports type system (xbps-src). But that is just me I would rather pull from github and build / manage myself. Anyway here is the scrot or it didnt happen.

The package is really called 'bar' by lemonboy they called it lemonbar IIRC.
https://github.com/LemonBoy/bar

and thanks.

Edit my bad looked in the Makefile its built as lemonbar. Love to be consistent.

^ That was one of the only things I knew. But I didn't try it yet (shame on me).
After I repaired the Dolby set (the fuse went to nirvana) for my wife it's the next thing on my list.
Thanks for the link :)
