wmutils is so flexible and having the ability to do whatever you want in scripts has me sold so far :)

question ... did you hardcode the wm to be wm-utils? I got it. Answered myself while typing, Just compiled to a different name.

I think in my nbinfo I was searching for wew or xwait as a wm and then setting if found $wm="wmutils" but I think I end up using it as a default if no other wm found. I'm sure that will be revisited soon.

wowsers. Did you have to manipulate the colors after extracting from the wall?

That may have been the first one I that didn't. Just took color 0 for background and 5 for foreground.

After trying many new colors I am doing a reset back to old faithful zenburn. wmutils is dialed in just how I want it and a good basic statusbar. Next up I have some ideas for more popups stay tuned. I think all info is in the scrot if not ask away.

Popups by keybinds or as notifications? Currently I have

• irssi/weechat
  cmus events
  battery
  volume

Some keys and some notifications you know thru lemonbar.

Something that is lacking with chat is a indicator of new chat. Does your script/popup/indicator deal with that? battery, volume and cmus events I pretty much have covered.

I modifed notify.pl (irssi) and notify.rb (weechat) to send the notifcation to popup.Simply relace notify-send with your popup script.

I think I have it posted elsewhere in the forums too.

Latest popup shows up under statusbar which also on a toggle so no clobber.

Cause when you are old you need big fonts and have to know the weather :)
