^ at least you can change. I'm getting really boring with all this solarized dark everywhere, and that's the main reason I stopped posting scrots. Not true, you are the reason I stopped posting scrots. ;)
Re: Xresources/Xdefaults colors
I put the colors out there for you guys. So, please, enjoy them as if they are yours. As a solarized fan, you may like calm.

a moderation (or second iteration) of the glass theme ... haze. And as seen here with a few changes since for better readablity in certain situations. Old values are commented.
I have to say, this is one of my favorites. Using with z3bra's great shblah vim colors with a few mods on that as well. For what it's worth, my two favorite vim color files are shblah, and franksinistra's beardtrim vim color file

Re: Xresources/Xdefaults colors
So, I have been tinckering with these colors for a bit after extracting a rough set from a wall on Reddit. I had no clue where I was going with the color scheme, but I ended up with what oddly made me think of the most beautiful spot in Southern Wyoming (granted, there aren't a lot of them). Elk Mountain is a wee bit West of Laramie, Wyoming. (The latter location is, in turn, the home of the University of Wyoming and where our bottom-tier collegiate football team loses homecoming well-neigh every year. You'd think they would have a chance playing at 8000' above sea level, but alas, we suck.) Anywho, here we have it:
