Kazehakase will not install
Forum rules
We don't support installations in VirtualBox, VMWare, qemu or others. We ignore posts about WINE, PlayOnLinux, Steam and Skype. We don't support btrfs, lvm, UEFI, side-by-side installations with GPT or dualboot with anything newer than Windows XP.
Google your problem first. Check the Wiki. Read the existing threads. It's okay to "hijack" an existing thread, yes! If your problem is not yet covered, open a new thread. To get the quickest possible help, mention the exact release codename in your post (uname -a is a good idea, too). Due to the lack of crystal balls, attach the output of lspci -nnk if you encounter hardware problems.

Re: Kazehakase will not install
Is your system up to date? When was the last time you did a dist-upgrade?
(edit) Wait, that is an ancient Squeeze package. Never mind. Good luck; maybe someone else has a clue.

Re: Kazehakase will not install
The latest release of kazehakase is already 5 years old, and there's a good reason why they removed it from the repos: it won't build on Sid anymore. You can try yourself using the sources: http://sourceforge.jp/projects/kazehakase/releases/
If you want to earn extra beard points, we got this one in the repos:
jd - simple browser for "2ch-style" web forum sites

Re: Kazehakase will not install
^ yup
Supposed to be in sid, with debports, what ever that is.
Squeeze is LTS now, so not a problem to run that old girl.
get statler out and add the LTS repo...

Re: Kazehakase will not install
Debports are those architectures that are not supported (yet/anymore) - for kazehakase it is m68k and unofficial. See more here: http://www.ports.debian.org/
@op, without looking into the details, IMO forget kazehakase:

Re: Kazehakase will not install
1) install stable, (repos should still be ok)
2) read this:
https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Using
3) profit..
I'd just like to point out that the company I work for is sponsoring LTS. (as we run a fair amount of oldstable) 8)
