Hmm. Probably not -- I did not build the sis video driver in the buildroot.

You have two options (well three, but the last one might not happen)

1. I can give you the buildroot config, and you can rebuild it with the sis driver enabled, and add the extra stuff to make a working install.

2. You can try adding the Arch xf86-video-sis package (you can do this by unpacking the package into the root (/ not /root) of the installed system). This is how I got nvdia graphics working. If you want more instructions for trying this please ask. https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extr ... video-sis/

3. You can wait for me to rebuild the system with the sis driver enabled.

It should boot into a console on a machine with sis graphics, you just won't be able to startx ("no screens found")

If you can make it boot on your sis machine, let me know and I can give you more detailed instructions for adding the Arch package.

I'm rebuilding with sis enabled, but there is no guarantee I won't break something else in the process :)

(edit) I rebuilt with sis, and as expected I broke a few minor things. I did not add the bbq user, so only root works (but adding a user is much easier than adding a video driver). I also did not enable pkill -- no big deal.

I have no way to test if sis graphics work with this build, but if you really want to try it I can upload it to sourceforge.

I would like to try that. No rush, just do it when you feel like it, and I will see if I can get it going here.

OK, it's up on sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxbb ... 1uxbds.tgz

Install procedure is the same, bbq user should work now, pkill still does not (use killall instead). I have no idea if sis graphics will work.

Let me know how it goes.

I can report that the sis graphics works fine.

It is a neat little system that runs well on the old thin client.
