linuxbbq with linux-image-4.0.0-1-686-pae?

Forum rules
We don't support installations in VirtualBox, VMWare, qemu or others. We ignore posts about WINE, PlayOnLinux, Steam and Skype. We don't support btrfs, lvm, UEFI, side-by-side installations with GPT or dualboot with anything newer than Windows XP.

@simon: fwiw, that line of mine you quoted was not meant to be negative in any way. i think it is a very useful question to ask yourself when it comes to determining why you want something. it does a good job in separating the extraneous feelings from the actual needs :)

Then install LinuxBBQ or your Linux distribution of choice and try the 4.0 kernel. It is in sid and has PAE.
