Remove the two packages ("purge syslinux syslinux-common"), continue the upgrade ("ins -f"), and install them again if you want - they are optional packages only needed if you want to make a remaster. They were static versions from experimental (due to unresolved bugs) before Jessie got released, now syslinux from unstable carries a different version, so they conflict.

We don't support installations in VirtualBox, VMWare, qemu or others.
Just saying, rules are at the top of this page...
But hey, never say never ;)

^^ That crash is an upstream bug in the new kernels >4.0, report it to Oracle (see
https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/13835 for example) ;) Or go back to kernel 3.16 in the GRUB menu, then purge the new 4.0 kernel.

^ Exactly. And that is the reason why we do not support installations in Virtualbox.
PS: Next time try to use code
blocks. Looks nicer than a big screen shot.
