(SOLVED)change user half worked

Unread post by guthut » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:54 am

hello all! Just installed openbox ontop of boner just have one issue. I ran the "changer-user" script, I rebooted and I have no icons just text and did not copy the files and folders. All I have is bin and hidden files and folders.
Thanks

Solved the issue. Somehow I didn't pull in hicolor-icon-theme.

Thanks

hi, you find the files that new users get in /etc/skel
what you need is actually lxappearance to set gtk, icons and fonts. install lxappearance and run it.

greetings!

Edit: the hicolor-icon-theme is not a hard dependency and only "needed" if you have lightdm and want to have the icons displayed in the top bar.
..gnutella..
