I've tried (as root) before and after starting openbox;
from;
/home/bbq
/home
/
directories and get
command not found
shows nothing related to install or installer in all dirs.
System;
M/B: Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H
Processor: 4x AMD Phenom II X4 940
Memory: 8167MB DDR2 800
Video: AMD ATI Radeon HD 4850
PS
saltimbocca686
installed fine from the gui installer
Am I missing something?
Joe

Hello,
try:
gksudo live-installer
or, if you want a very basic, CLI based ("expert") installer,
sudo bbqinstaller
Good luck!
(Explanation: cli-installer was used for the first releases, this was replaced by bbqinstaller and bbqinstaller-gui -- these are still existing and can be used as installer for the redistributable ISO. The latest graphical installer is live-installer. If it fails, you can still fall back to bbqinstaller. I recommend the CLI version because it actually shows you what it does. It is recommended to prepare the drives with a partitioning tool and label them in case you have many different partitions on your drive)
..gnutella..

Thank you sir.
Worked like a charm posting this from a fresh escargot install.
Now it's time to play!
