[Solved] dist-upgrade borked my LXDE lxpanel

Ok, everything is back to normal, the way it was before the new LXDE packages started coming.

There were two issues that had to be discovered and fixed. 1) When pidsley had me backup my LXDE profile and create a new one, I never went back and swapped in the old one. That is why my panel was ugly, my terminal was not transparent, etc. 2) When the Siduction devs had me add @lxpanel to ~/.config/lxsession/LXDE/autostart, and I said that was funny, it had never been there before. Well, where it was was /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart, along with other stuff. When I started using the autostart under ~/.config, it caused the one under /etc to be ignored. That was where my command to remap the Super key was, so that was why my key combos were no longer working.

To make a long story short, everything is good, now. :)

Thanks for the update Tim, and I apologize if my attempt to help made things more complicated.

No need to apologize, I was the one who forgot to put it back. Thanks for helping me.

Ok, upgraded. Hit the same shit. I already know why. I will repost it in the warning. On a pure Sid system you should definitely wait with the d-u.

Anyway, I made some magic but the a question arises, what did you do exactly to resolve the problem Tim? Removing lxpanel from /etc or from /.config? I have both there.
